Hi, my name is Stacy Thankam Mathai!!!! I was born on March 11, 1987. I was born and raised in Stamford, CT. I am the oldest child in my family. I live with my mom and dad, two younger sisters, and my baby brother. My sister Phebe is fifteen years old and my other sister Sheba is thirteen years old. My baby brother Philemon is in first grade and he is seven years old. I am fifteen years older than my baby brother, I feel more like his mother than his sister!

Currently, I am a Junior in college. I am the first in my family to attend a university. I attend The University of Connecticut - Stamford Campus. My major is in Business and Technology and a concentration in finance and marketing. I hope to graduate in May 2009. I am looking forward to graduate from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor’s degree and moving on to a higher degree by going to grad school. That leads me to my next goal of receiving my masters in either Engineering or Business. Eventually, I want to be able to find a stable job that pays me well and offers good benefits. Not only that, but to go to work everyday knowing that I love my job. A long term goal that I have in mind is to attend a Bible Seminary where I can learn thoroughly and expand my own knowledge about the Bible itself.

My ultimate goal in life is to do missionary work by becoming an evangelist. I have always had a deep desire to go to other countries and spread the gospel of Christ ever since I was little. I want to be the one who is opening doors for those who are in poverty and need that helping hand. Moreover, I want to build orphanages in foreign countries, such as Africa, China, and India and help the less fortunate. Through that others can learn about Christ, the only Savior who died for all humanity. At the end, I hope that I will be able to touch and turn lives around for the good of our society.
